Even further west is Redmond OR and the Mount Bachelor Kennel Club.
Saturday lining up in the final ring were the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Aspendel's Pale Rider JH, the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, CH Soletrader Donald Duck, the Boxer, CH R And G's Mystical Dancer, the Colored Bull Terrier, CH Black Shark De Rocabull, the Pug. CH Mtn Aire's Star Of Aslan, the Miniature Poodle, CH Silverado Show Off, and the Shetland Sheepdog, Royal Hills Cover Girl.
Pity we don’t have a photo of the BIS winning Pug. The three year old dog was bred and is owned by Connie Dunham and is handled by Kevin J Chestnut. Congratulations to them both.

Sunday, only the Pug and the Bull Terrier made it back to James Ham’s BIS ring. Also there were the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, CH Javahill's Backwoods Boy RN, the Bloodhound, Houndwalkers Elphaba Moon Rising, the Boxer, CH Duba Dae's Who's Your Daddy, the French Bulldog, CH Highwood's Big Shot, and the Belgian Malinois, CH Carousel's Dream Of Fire N Ice HT.
BIS went to the NSDTR, the breed with a name so unwieldy we reduce it to an acronymn, Just call him Ranger for short. The three year old is not currently ranked in the top 15 in his breed, but this makes him the only BIS NSDTR this year. Congratulations to breeder/owner Linda Fitzmaurice, co-breeder Meredith Noreen, co-owner Phyllis L McDonald, and junior handler Mercedes Messer.
We will be posting more results soon.

Ranger isn't ranked yet because he has to stay home during hunting season. I hear he lives a dogs life in New Mexico. Tollers are a nice breed and I had the priviledge of stewarding their 2008 nationals. He is an exciting young dog. Congrats to team Ranger.
ReplyDeleteAnd in 2 weeks out, looks like he is the #1 Toller in All Breed. Not too shabby for a beautiful dog and his Team!
ReplyDeleteGO RANGER!! :D
