Sunday, at day two of the Fort Bend KC in Rosenberg TC, Judge Robert Shreve, chose the Weimaraner, CH Harline Win'Weim It's My 2nd Martini, from a final seven that included the Saluki, Issibaa's Goinforthegold, the Mastiff, CH Quietwood Chances R, the Lakeland Terrier, Hi-Kel Terrydale Soldier Of Fortune, the Miniature Pinscher, Windwalkers Call In The Clowns, the Cinese Shar-Pei, CH Chaoyang's Chick Magnet At Asia, and the previous day’s BIS winner, the Old English Sheepdog, CH Bugaboo's Georgie Girl.

CH Lydgate’s Rise ‘N‘ Shine

On day two of the Greenville MS KC, Judge Joe Gregory, also chose a Sporting Dog, the ASCOB Cocker Spaniel, CH Lydgate’s Rise ‘N‘ Shine, as his BIS. Also vying for the top prize were the Irish Wolfhound, CH Highgates Andrew Of The Ridge, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Adesas And The Beat Goes On, the Miniature Bull Terrier, CH Diers Gabrielle Of Brownstone, the Pomeranian, CH Velocitys Shake Ur Bon Bon, the Boston Terrier, CH Gumbo-Keans Cosmic Stargazer, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams.


CH Lehigh-Darkwynd Caragh

Meanwhile, in chilly Detroit MI, Judge Ralph (Sonny) Ambrosio, chose a breeder/owner handled Scottish Deerhound, CH Lehigh-Darkwynd Caragh, as his BIS on day two of the Oakland County KC. We have been told that this imposing bitch has faced 2008 top deerhound and number nine all breed dog, CH Jaraluv Ouija, three times and won all three times. She was challenged yesterday by the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Hartlines True To Bear, the Rottweiler, CH Lorals Number One Caesar, the Samoyed, CH White Eagle's Celestial Sky, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Smywyre Sudden Impact, the Japanese Chin, CH Kelaury At Twilight, the prior day’s BIS winner, the Bichon Frise, CH Belle Creek's I Love Lucy, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Quiche's Demetrius.

CH Cileine Masquerade

On day two of the Central Iowa KC event in Des Moines, Judge went with a familiar face, the 2008 number five dog all breeds, the Brussels Griffon, CH Cileine Masquerade. Lincoln was accompanied in the final by the Golden Retriever, CH Halogolds Take Me On A Journey, the Basset Hound, CH Topsfield Vision Silver Noodle, the Samoued, CH Polar Mist X-Tasy, the Norfolk Terrier, CH Maxwell’s Viper, the Bichon Frise, CH Bibelots Purple Heart O' Mine, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Limericks Shakespeare.

CH Sanherpinc Paisa

For warm weather fans, there was the Ventura County KC show Sunday in southern California, where Judge Anella Cooper gave the Welsh Terrier, CH Sanherpinc Paisa, her first BIS. Also on had were the English Setter, CH Artizoe High Caliber, the Afghan Hound, CH Thaon's Mowgli, the Samoyed, CH Rossia's Texas Rocket O'Cedar Ridge, the Havanese, CH Bellatak My Funny Valentine, the Players Protocol, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Mill Creek’s Medal Of Honor.

  1. Also on Day Two of the Des Moines, IA shows our Rhodesian Ridgeback bitch got WB for 1 more point, bringing her to 12 points with both majors. Not as exciting as a BIS, I know, but it was great for us!

  6. the Golden Retriever that won the group on Sunday in Des Moines was BIS BISS CH. Shorline Jetoca High Seas Adventure JH VC SDHF, not the one listed!
