Last year’s number one dog, the Giant Schnauzer, CH Galilee's Pure Of Spirit, continues her dominance of the show ring with another BIS at today’s Golden Gate Kennel Club show.
Judge Keke Kahn also had the Weimaraner, CH Smokycity Silhouette Dbl Ur Pleasure, the 15” Beagle, CH Cabaret Come Chase The Dream, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Warfox Double Exposure, the Standard Poodle, CH Penndragon Masaniello, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Voodoo Slam Dunks Susant’s to consider, but like so many before her she went with Spirit. Congratulations once more to Spirit & handler Taffe McFadden and everyone else associated with this splendid representative of our fancy.

of course the beagle won its owned by the show chairs son!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere was a handler on the dog...so the judge had no idea that it was his son's dog
ReplyDeleteso the judge had no idea that it was his son's dog
ReplyDelete.............yeah right.
ha. funny. consider this, the showchair told the judge it was his sons dog. and so the judge did his son a favor so the judge can stay on that panel each year!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteConsider this. If you are going to slander the judge, the show chair, the breeders, owners, and handler of the dog in question, have the conviction to put your name with your comments. Otherwise make your comments on a site that welcomes such remarks. This one does not.
ReplyDeleteThank you Billy, the beagle does no live with the show chairs son, he co-owns it for the sole purpose to show it in juniors...other than that there is no correlation with the dog

TJ, I had figured that out after Googling the dog in question. I really can't believe that someone could be so mean spirited as to go after a junior. It's fine to have one's favorites and say so here, but we need to respect the sportsmanship we foster in this hobby.
ReplyDeleteirregardless arent akc rules rules? its one dog show, could they not have shown the dog for one weekend? just seems kinda suspicious if you ask me
ReplyDeletebut we all know how dog shows go
PEOPLE IN GLASS HOUSES SHOULD NOT THROW STONES – “Those who are vulnerable should not attack others. “
ReplyDeleteFor those who care about facts not conspiracy theories, the 15” beagle shown only five weekends as a special. He has eight variety wins three of which against the number one beagle in the country. The first weekend shown group two, third weekend group four, fifth weekend, group one. The dog just turned two this month and would appear he is just getting started.
