OES BACK2BACK BIS IN COLORADO

GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect

One of the most talked about dogs this season is the young Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect.  Swagger burst onto the scene at this year’s Westminster Kennel Club show where he was an instant media darling after winning the breed from the classes.  He went on to capture the first ever Westminster Kennel Club Reserve Best In Show, much to the delight of an enthusiastic crowd.

Swagger was in his native Colorado this weekend where he captured both the big rosettes at the Buckthorn Valley Kennel Club shows in Greeley CO.  Judge Mary Lou Kniola named Swagger her BIS on Saturday after considering the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, GCH CH Chesacola Hardwood Baltimore Raven CGC, the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Bougain’E Nautghty-n-Lovely  Alvin, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Majestic Rocky Mtn Rendezvous CGC WD, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH High Mtn Everso Smooth, the Papillon, GCH CH McFriends Trujoy Eye Candy, and her RBIS, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Unique da Maya Dancing Queen.

Sunday Swagger impressed judge  Lee Whittier more than did the Brittany, GCH CH Rainbow Splash's Ruggedly Handsome, who impressed her more than did the above mentioned Beagle, the Akita, GCH CH Stardust’s See You at the Show, the previously seen Smooth Fox, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Shorepointe’s Buddy Dazzler, or the Chow Chow, GCH CH Dreamland's Wanna Be A Billionaire.

While Swagger was show in a somewhat limited fashion after Westminster, he has accelerated the pace since taking on two new owners, campaign veterans Ron Scott and Debbie Burke.  Swagger and breeder/owner/handler Colton Johnson have collected nine of their 19 BIS this year during the last six weeks.
