We continue our weekend reports with results from Augusta NJ, the only site that had a Monday show. When we last checked on the New Jersey shows, we told you that judge Chuck Winslow chose the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket to Ride, as his Best In Show at Saturday’s Palisades Kennel Club show. The rest of the stop would belong to the Country’s Number One Dog all Breeds, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, who would take both of the BIS at the Ramapo Kennel Club’s Sunday and Monday shows.

On Saturday judge Jacqueline Rayner would choose Matisse out of a lineup that included the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Celtic Thunder, the Irish Wolfhound, GCH CH Dun Myrica Doctor Gonzo Of Eagle, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Angarda Deja Vu Looking At You, the RBIS, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Sonnus Filho (Sanchez), the Dalmatian, GCH CH Spotted Bliss Oreo Delight, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Classical’s My Turn.
Sunday judge Nathaniel Horn would see the same way naming Matisse his BIS and Sonnito his RBIS as the English Setter, GCH CH Weymouth’s En Fuego, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Exlysta Aries Ciel Noir, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Class Act By Hallsblu, the aforementioned Dalmatian, Odie, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Collinswood Sparks Fly, looked on. Matisse is the winningest Working Dog of all time with 208 career BIS, of which 113 have come this year.
