Our Pacific Northwest entry this past weekend was in St
Helens OR with the Longview-Kelso Kennel Club.
Saturday’s finalists were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Diamond Mk The Eagle
Has Landed, the Greyhound, GCH CH Helios Tulip Atheart, the Bullmastiff, GCH CH
Banstock N Highpoint New Day Bruin At Kimo, the American Staffordshire Terrier,
GCH CH Sierra’s Ground Zero, the Toy Poodle, CH North Well Vivian Jp Rose Queen,
the Keeshond, GCH CH Skyline’s Chemin De Fer, and the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Sky
Acres Maximum Altitude.
Judge Richard Lopaschuk’s BIS was the Toy Poodle, Rosie,
and his RBIS was the Tervuren, Tripp. It
was the first BIS for Vivian and handler Tim Brazier. Vivian is owned by breeder Yone Natsume and Toni Sosnoff & Martin Sosnoff. The Sosnoffs are the owners of the Standard
Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, who was the Reserve Best In Show at
this year’s Westminster Kennel Club show.

Judge Kimberly Meredith-Cavanna had the Sunday final and her
pick of the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Rush Hills DramaGeddon JH, the Whippet, Rainiers
Class Act at Endeavor, the Akita, GCH CH Sondaisa Fyre When Ready CD, the aforementioned
AmStaff, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Hilltops GQ Cover Boy, the Chow Chow, GCH
CH Padow’s Too Hot To Handle, and Tripp, the Tervuren.
She chose the Golden, Willis, as her BIS and the Akita, Holster,
as her RBIS. It’s the second of the year
and this month for Willis and breeder/owner/handler Tonya Struble. Congratulations to Tonya and owner Cathy Meddaugh.
