The San Joaquin Kennel Club held their two shows in California’s
Sacramento Valley, in the town of Stockton.
Sunday’s opener ended with judge Carolyn Herbel in the final ring with
the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward, the Bloodhound, GCH CH
Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Alisaton Blackbird v
Allure Beaulane, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Absolutely Talk of the Town,
the Pug, GCH CH Storybrook’s Perfectly Sirius, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH PaRay
Power & Privilege, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure at
Wyndstar.
GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward
The Bloodhound, Kissy, picked the BIS, and the Field
Spaniel, Gideon, collected his second RBIS this week. Kissy’s 2013 record stands at ten BIS and 41
Hound Groups.

Both Kissy and Gideon would make it back to Judge David
Bolus’ final today along with the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Tiburon Arsenal, the
Miniature Schnauzer, CH Kwic Never Say Never, the Maltese, GCH CH Scylla’s
Small Kraft Re-Lit, the Keeshond, GCH CH Summerwind Rumor has It, and the
Australian Cattle Dog, GCH CH Kokopelli’s Sobe It.
The Maltese, Hank, grabbed the set’s last big rosette and
once again the Field Spaniel, Gideon, collected the Reserve award. Hank is the nation’s Number Toy Dog with nine
BIS and 50 Toy Groups this year.
