GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky
For two sites here in the US, the dog show weekend extended
into Monday and both featured back2back performances. First in Pueblo CO, the nation’s Number One
Dog, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, ended her five day
work week with three BIS. The last two
came at the Sunday and Monday shows of the Colorado Springs Kennel Club.
GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect
Sunday’s final was called by judge Houston Clark who
considered the English Springer Spaniel, CH Killara Ono! The British Are Coming
CA, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Skyline N
Magnolia’s Road Trip, the Portuguese Water Dog, CH Aspencoves Nothing Like This
Majik, the Pug, GCH CH Bookmark’s Uncommonly Good, the Keeshond, GCH CH
Spektacles’ Feast For The Eyes, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s
Picture Perfect, before naming Sky his Best In Show and the OES, Swagger, his
Reserve.
Monday judge Cindy Vogels would see it the same way, naming
Sky BIS and Swagger RBIS, after seeing the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH
Whistlestop’s Riley On Fire, the same PWD & Pug, and the Shiba Inu, CH
Jotoichi Perfect Madness. The four wins
brings Sky’s 2013 record to 75 BIS and 127 Terrier Groups. While
Sky has led the field in dogs defeated for most of the year, she trails the
Number Two Dog, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de
Matisse, in the Number of BIS. Matisse
finished the week with 79 BIS and 116 Working Groups.
