The show week ended yesterday in Yuma AZ with the Imperial Valley
Kennel Club’s day two show. Judge Robert
Black had a powerhouse seven from which to choose his top two. They were the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH
CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, the Basenji, GCH CH Jasiri-Sukari Win Tin
Tin, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood silver Six Pence, the Wire Fox
Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, the Pug, GCH CH Hill Country Tag I’m
It, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Bearded
Collie, GCH CH Wigglesworth Thriller.
Powering his way to the Best In Show was the Pug, JJ, while
the country’s Number One Dog All Breeds, took home the Reserve. DOG2WATCH JJ, winner of the Pug Dog Club of
America’s 2012 National Specialty, has ten BIS in 32 final appearances this year.
