Kennel Club was in Marietta GA this weekend.
They asked Thomas Kilcullen to take the first final and choose his BIS
and RBIS from the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Stops
Here JH, the Afghan Hound, Jacosta Gold But Not Copper, the Doberman Pinscher, Jaspar's
Destiny's Child, the Welsh Terrier, CH Shaireab's Bayleigh Maid Of Honor, the
Pug, GCH CH Caper's Sirius Endeavor, the CH Mauldin's Carolina Moon-Shine, and
the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Mysharas Dancing Queen.
He chose the
Pug, Rufus, as his Reserve and the GWP, Truman, as his Best In Show. Four of Truman’s ten BIS this year have come in the last four weeks.

Sunday,
Truman and Rufus would be the only of the Saturday finalists to make it to Patricia
Hess’ final. They would be joined by the
15” Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Be Nice To Me, the Boxer, GCH CH Ho-Pa Grand Slam,
the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Legend's B-B-B Bad To The Bone, the Chinese
Shar-Pei, GCH CH Padow's Twilight Embrey In A New Moon At Asans, and the Puli,
GCH CH Cordmaker Rumpus Bumpus.

Rufus would
get the BIS and the points. The Schnauzer,
Harry, would take the RBIS and the bragging rights. It’s the fourth BIS in 43 final appearances this
year for Rufus and breeder/owner/handler Linda Rowell. Folks, you’re going to want to visit the Pug
ring at this year’s AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.
