GCH CH Miletree Northern Star at Shirmont
We had a busy day in the Great Plains states this week. It all started in Mitchell NE where the Scottsbluff Kennel Club made a long weekend of it with three all breed shows. James Fredericksen’s final line up on Friday included the Welsh Springer Spaniel, GCH CCH Royaile Rocksprings Dafydd, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Monkham’s Famous Grouse, the Mastiff, CH Brite Star Patronus, the Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Home Brew Page Three Girl RN, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Northern Star at Shirmont, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Bar-None Fabulosity, and the Border Collie, GCH CH Shoreland’s Not A Gamble.
Taking home the set’s first big rosette was the Cavalier, Teddy. It’s the second of the year for Teddy and handler Clint Livingston. Both wins have come in the last 30 days.
GCH CH Thunderhill’s Apple Bottom Jeans
Saturday Norm Kenney would see the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Scion’s Hot Pants RN, the above named PBGV, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Gallant’s First and Foremost V Ciden, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Chyscott’s Making an Entrance, the aforementioned Cavalier, the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Barnstorm’s Grissom TTCSI, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Thunderhill’s Apple Bottom Jeans.
Best was the Sheltie, Bindi. We first took notice of this girl back in 2010 when she won her first BIS. We hope we see more of her this year. Congratulations to breeders/owners Michelle & Marty Miller and owner Ann Power.
GCH CH Monkham’s Famous Grouse
Roger Hartinger wrapped it up with the Brittany, GCH CH Trio’s Mr Rocktober, and the previously seen PBGV, Doberman, Staffy Bull, Cavalier, Tibetan Terrier, and Sheltie. Third time was a charm for the PBGV, Fabio. It’s the first this year for Fabio and owner/handler Juli Lacey-Black. Our congratulations to Juli, breeders/owners Linda & Jenna Skerrit, and owners Donna Bruce & Jill Neuschaefer.
