We had remarked earlier in our Back Story column on Best In Show Daily on how far many of the dogs in Scottsdale AZ had traveled greatr distances to compete at the four all breed shows there this past weekend. However, Scottsdale wasn’t the only distant destination for our energetic exhibitors. The Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, traveled over 1700 miles from Riverside CA to Purina Farms in Gray Summit MO to collect the big rosette at Saturday’s Belle-City Kennel Club show. Kissie was challenged in Gene Blake’s final by the Welsh Springer Spaniel, CH Statesman Kentucky Derby, the Boxer, R and G’s Mystical Dancer, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Cumhil Hell Raiser, the Pomeranian, CH Endor And Donandrus New Moon, the Standard Poodle, CH Vetset Kate Winsit, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder.
It’s the second this year for Kissie who has been the country’s top winning Bloodhound for the last three seasons.
