GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins
New Yorkers headed out on the Island (Long Island, if you’re not from the area) for three days of dog events. Today and tomorrow it’s the Ladies' Kennel Association Of America in Teddy Roosevelt’s hometown of Oyster Bay.
Day one exhibitors braved rains through part of the judging, but the skies were clear for Howard Falberg's final. He had his choice of the Golden Retriever, CH Chantelle on Your Mark, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Somerri Dunharrow’s Devil Ray, the Samoyed, GCH CH McMagic’s Candie Ham of Pebbles’Run, the Welsh Terrier, Sarendon It Had To Be You, the Pug, GCH CH San Remo’s Tug of War, the Miniature Poodle, CH Maldavale’s State Side, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.
His choice for BIS was the Beardie, Roy. That’s eleven this year for Roy, the country’s Number One Herding Dog. We love a dog that looks great soaking wet.
