GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Buck Stops Here JH
We start Monday Morning Mop Up with a pair of shows hosted by the Hilton Head Island (SC) Kennel Club in their hometown this weekend. On Saturday, Roger Hartinger would choose his BIS from the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Buck Stops Here JH, the Pharaoh Hound, DC Hallam's Ethan Ramel JC SC MC LCX, the Black Russian Terrier, CH Petr Pervy Iz Russkoi Dinastii, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Lamz Heads I Win Tails You Lose, the Pug, CH Caper's Sirius Endeavor, the Miniature Poodle, CH Light N' Lively's Equal To The Task, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Winsome’s Love Remembears.
His choice was the GWP, Truman. It’s the first all breed BIS for Truman, the son of the top GWP in history, GCH CH Ripsnorter’s Mt View Lookout. Congratulations to breeders/owners Angie Johson, Mike Johnson, Christine Whitmore, owner Kiki Courtelis, and handler Frank Murphy.

Looking Forward to seeing Frank's new GWP.
ReplyDeleteGood to see this breed represented so well....especially from one generation to the next!
ReplyDeleteI had the pleasure of seeing this GWP first hand this weekend, he has a nice future ahead of him. It is wonderful seeing a top dog produce great get.
ReplyDeleteI loved watching Frank with Scout and equally excited about his new GWP, Truman. He is definitely starting out on the right foot. I have always admired this breed and very happy to see it do well in the ring.
ReplyDeleteDid Frank retire Scout? I am sure that his new GWP will do just as good.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I heard Scout retired at the end of 2010, he was absent for Westminster, he was quite the dog. I believe Frank has only had Truman, a Scout son, for a few weekends and they already have multiple group placements and a Best In Show. This dog will follow right in his sire's footsteps. I have been following his new GWP since I saw them Greenville, SC, and I am not surprised one bit to see them at the top already. I noticed in Billy's comments he won his clubs National Speciality.
ReplyDeleteI was just talking with a GWP friend about Truman and they pointed out that he is a third generation BIS and National Speciality Winner. Now that is a nice accomplishment for the breeders and owners.
ReplyDeleteYes, Scout retired at the end of 2010. This year will be interesting to see who is the top GWP.
ReplyDeleteI saw Truman in SC as well and he looks very nice. Another lady had a nice one that beat Truman for the breed at least one day in Greenville. But also Scouts brother is being shown by Phil and Amy Booth this year. He was one of the top dogs in Brazil last year owned by the Wisch's.
What a fabulous job the Wisch's and the Whitt's have done with this breed!
