Let’s catch you up on what’s been happening in Kansas City MO where they started a four day set on Thursday. It’s been all about the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate’s As You Like It, who has posted three straight BIS. You can read all about day one here. On Friday Qing and handler Brian Livingston were joined in Peggy Beisel McIlwaine’s final by the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Autumn's Stardust And Roses, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream Of Style, the Smooth fox Terrier, GCH CH Waybroke Broxden Turning Tanner, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Puffpride Somewhere in Time, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dacun Kaylens He's A Heartbreaker, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Frontier's License to Carry at Margaux.
On Saturday, Qing’ six partners in Col Joe Purkhiser’s final for the day one show of the Heart of America Kennel Club were the Brittany, GCH CH Shelttany's Against All Odds, the above named Boxer, the American Staffordshire Terrier, CH Alpine’s Ring of Fire, the previously mentioned Pom, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Vaje’s Miss Jayne Hathaway, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Copperridge’s One Time Offer.
The Swedish import, Qing, had a spectacular career in Europe before coming to the US and has now conquered the US, posting 27 BIS since his arrival, a breed record. His trifecta in Kansas City has earned him the title of Number One Hound in America and the Number Two Dog all Breeds spot. We're breathless just watching.
