GCH CH Torquay Midnight Confession
Our first breed winner this morning is not a surprise. The 15” Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Midnight Confession, is the winningest 15” Beagle in AKC history. Lola is elegantly handled by breeder/owner Marcelo Chagas. Our congratulations to Marcelo and co-breeder/owner Alessandra Botelho and co-owner Marco Flavio.
Lola, the 2010 Number Two Hound will be the odds on favorite this evening as we hear that last year’s Hound Group winner and the 2010 Number One Hound, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel will not return to the Hound Group. The breed was won by GCH CH Snowcap's Patent Leather, bred by Marty Wilson & Dianne Reimer and owned by Diane and Harriet Vincent. Congratulations to them all.
The 13” variety of the Beagle will be represented tonight by GCH CH Del Rey Roosevelts Rough Rider bred by Jane Catz & Erich Brandt who co-own with Richard Hilton & Diana Lipari. Bravo to them all.

ReplyDeleteWere in the world is Chanel and Tawny?
ReplyDeletechannel, last years hound group winner and #1 hound was NOT shown today.
ReplyDeleteSomething happened with Tawny's entry and Chanel was entered, but not shown today. I do not know the reason.
ReplyDeleteI now pick marcelo and the beagle or angie and hickory to win the group tonight
