CH Karasar's Par Excellence
Down in the Deep South, we had four shows this week in Hattiesburg MS. We told you all about the first show of the weekend with Lee Canalizo calling the final. She had her pick of the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Touchstone's O Solo Mio, the Whippet, CH Karasar's Par Excellence, the Boxer, CH Carillon's MVP, the Colored Bull Terrier, Glentom's You Were Mint For Me, the Chinese Crested, CH Vanitonia Devil Wears Prada, Thursday’s BIS winner, the Keeshond, CH Trumpet's Shoot To Thrill, and the German Shepherd Dog, Zyut's Java Of Hicliff. Her Best was the Cocker, Solo. Solo is new to us and we hope to bring you more on this dog.
Saturday, it was the GHKC’s turn to host again and they asked Don Rodgers to look over the final seven. He saw the above named Cocker, Whippet, Boxer, & Keeshond, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Foxxsake American Spirit, the Affenpinscher, CH Ferlin’s Its All About Me, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH To-Jo Tune In Theodore Lanward. He chose as his BIS, the Whippet, Laynee. It’s the first BIS this year for Laynee and breeder/owner/handler Kerrie Kupper. Congrats all around.
Sunday the MMKC closed the set with Dr Donald Gill doing the last final. His seven included previous BIS winners, the Black Cocker, Solo, and the Keeshond, Hunter, the Whippet, CH Krislyn Debmar Buckle Bunny, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Horizon's Upper Echelon, the Bedlington Terrier, CH Bluenote's Sweet On Carillon, the Havanese, CH Harbor's Petunia Pinkle Bottom, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Lin-Kel Nanteos Bronwyn. Once again it was our mystery cocker, Solo with a BIS. We’re still looking for details.
The Cocker was Winners Dog at Spaniel Club in 2008 under Dale Ward.
