Region Six, the Northwest Region, was busy this weekend with three sites holding shows. We’ve given you all the results from the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club in San Rafael CA. Here’ what was happening elsewhere.
In Farmington UT the Bonneville Basin Kennel Club held a pair of shows. On Saturday, Joan Anselm greeted the Golden Retriever, CH Toasty’s Treasure Island, the Longhaired Dachshund, CH Sunteckel’s Samuel II, the Boxer, CH Dubadae’s Who’s Your Daddy, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Cresstock Walk The Line, the Shih Tzu, CH Xerlane’s Delicious Face, the American Eskimo Dog, CH Silveroaks First & Foremost, and the Shetland Sheepdog, CH Iona I Can Shine. Best In Show went to the Dachshund, his first this year. Congratulations to breeders Jan Schirmer & Kevin Schirmer, owners Sharon Lutosky & Terry Abst, and handler Lorene E Hogan.
Sunday, the Golden, Dachshund, Boxer, & Sheltie were all back to see BIS judge Lorraine Bisso. The remaining finalists were the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Kathrich Maximo $$$, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Orchard Hill Shirmont Backtalk, and the French Bulldog, CH Highwood Big Shot. BIS went to the Frenchie, Willie, who becomes the only French Bulldog to win an all breed BIS this year. Congratulations to breeders/owners Alexandra Vorbeck & Perry Payson, and handler Alvin N Lee Jr.
Up in Wenatchee WA The hometown Wenatchee Kennel Club fielded their two shows. On Saturday Anitra Cuneo went over the Irish Setter, CH Ashton Peaceful Easy Feeling, the Borzoi, CH AAshtoria Wildhunt Hidden Agenda, the Akita, CH Crown Royals Start'N A Revolution, the Cairn Terrier, CH Kiowa MMDW Driving Miss Daisy, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Full Of Malarkey Miles Of Aisles, the Bulldog, CH Legacy Empress Of The Copa, and the Belgian Tervuren, CH Sky Acres Flying Solo. BIS went to the Bulldog, Emmy, her first this year. Emmy was bred by Matthew Bonner & Kelly Copen, is owned by Kelly and Jay Serion, who handles Emmy. Congratulations to them all.

Making their first appearance of the weekend were the Alaskan Malamute, CH Rogue's Jonny Walker Blk Label, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Trugrip One Singular Sensation, the Toy Fox Terrier, CH Valcopy Wicket Ways , and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Merit's Heartfelt Thanks. Bulldogs are icons of r perseverance and Emmy lived up to that image by taking home her second BIS of the weekend.
