Yesterday the Anoka County Kennel Club held their first of two shows this week in Cambridge MN.
CH Marquis' Stealing The Show TC
Loraine Boutwell had a powerhouse final with three top twenty dogs competing. Her seven were the Irish Setter, CH Vineyard's Bad Boy, the Basset Hound, CH Topsfield-Sanchu American Express, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Soldier Of Fortune, the Pug, CH Tupelo Shoboat Tu China Tu, the Lhasa Apso, CH Northwind Amaze Me, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Marquis' Stealing The Show TC.
And it was the number two ranked dog, the Doberman, CJ, adding to her BIS tally and increasing her lead over the rest of the field.

To the south, the Valparaiso (IN) Kennel Club asked Andrew Bruce Kidd to select a BIS. He chose from the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, CH Flatbrook Royal Point Attitude JH, the Greyhound, CH Gaia Elfin Dance, the Great Pyrenees, CH Pyrless Les De Lourdes, the West Highland White Terrier, CH Whitefire's You Keep Me Hangin' On, the Papillon, CH Wingssong Rock Star, the Chinese Shar-Pei, CH Chao-Yang Take It To The Limit, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Lambluv's Daydream Believer.
BIS went to the three year old Greyhound, Emerson, his first. Congratulations to breeder/owner Sue LeMieux, co-breeder Scott Thomson, co-owners Masaru Kunisa & Jay Ito, and handler Nina Fetter.

In from MN...CJ goes BIS again. It was the same group except on the hound and toy groups. Afghan represented Hounds and peke represented toys. Sorry but I don't have the names for the new names today.
