If you are looking for Region Two or Three results, we did that over the weekend. Check the archives for those results. We are on to Region Four and Jefferson WI. We did give you a glimpse of the action there earlier, but let’s recap.
Friday it was the Bader Kennel Club and judge James Reynolds. Although we told you about the Keeshond, CH Wund-Ry’s Best Ket Secret going BIS. We did not tell you that he was accompanied in the final by the German Wirehaired Pointer (they are having a good time lately, aren’t they?), CH Star K’s Mile Hi Valentine, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, CH Rokeena Carte Blanche, the Samoyed, CH Hawkwind's Emerald Storm, the Airedale Terrier, CH Stone Ridge Tobylinn, the Papillion, CH Wingssong Rock Star, and the Polish Lowland Sheepdog, CH Sasquehanna Malinnik Ponadto.
Saturday, the action was hosted by the Janesville-Beloit Kennel Club with judge Houston Clark making the call. Again we were prompt in letting you know that the PBGV, CeeJay, the country’s number one Hound and a top five dog, took home the heavy silver. Only the GWP made it back with CeeJay. The other finalists were the Siberian Husky, CH Antara’s Put On The Red Light, the Smooth Fox Terrier (they are also having a heckuva weekend), CH Broxden Kemosabe High Button Shoes, the Japanese Chin, CH Kelaury At Twilight, the French Bulldog, CH Starhaven Allenhill’s Lock N Load, and the Smooth Collie, CH Lisara’s Smooth Operator.
We haven’t told you yet about Sunday, when the Badger KC asked Richard Lake to take a look at the GWP, the PBGV, Friday’s Papillion, the Komondor, Lajosmegyl Djaam (and please don’t ask me how that’s pronounced), the Border Terrier, CH Tyrolian Eight Belles At Meadowlake, the Keeshond, CH Daimler’s Caviar Dreams, and the Canaan Dog, CH Mad River Cool Breeze Blowing.
The 15 month old “Belle” has already made her mark winning the breed at the all Terrier extravanganza Montgomery County Kennel Club at just seven months of age. And now she has her first all breed BIS. Congratulations to breeders Bruce & Carolyn Budmayr and owners Karen E Fitzpatrick & Thomas H Bradley III.
Next, we’re off to Region Six.
